In summer, it's never easy to stay stylish with the hot weather, both in town and at the beach.
Personally, I have always liked to draw inspiration from summer outfits from films of the sixties and seventies to create the models of shoes that I wanted to wear and share with you.
So which films inspire me? They are mostly French actually.
It's often a silhouette, a lightness, a slight "je ne sais quoi" that touches me and inspires me deeply.
The couple Bardot and Piccoli in Godard's "Le Contempt" is so iconic. It was this film that made me want to create slippers for girls, an elegant alternative to ballet flats which, in my opinion, do not hold the foot enough.
"La Collectionneuse" by Éric Rohmer from 1968 inspired me with the Andy unisex model summer boots in ultra-soft leather to wear even without socks.
It was the film "Plein Soleil" with Delon who wears moccasins wonderfully, which led me to create the Lianni and Georges models in ultra-soft leather, to always be worn without socks, like a second skin.
