The Designer

After studying law and political science, nothing seemed to predestine Philippe Zorzetto to create fashion accessories. And yet.
The son of a cabinetmaker who worked alongside major leather goods houses, he grew up surrounded by the values of precision, craftsmanship and work well done. He is also the grandson of an Italian artisan who arrived in France carrying precious traditional shoe lasts. Years later, these forms would give birth to the first models signed Zorzetto.
Very quickly, his approach resonated with the cultural world. His shoes found their place on personalities with a free and distinctive allure, from David Bowie to Jane Birkin, and Jean Dujardin. Artists for whom style is, above all, a posture, a relationship to the body and to movement.
For eighteen years, the Maison has cultivated a human-scale approach, shaped by ongoing dialogue with art, cinema, music and architecture. These worlds subtly influence the lines and proportions of each design, without ever imposing themselves.
Attentive to those who wear them, the collections are conceived to last, understated and balanced, expressing a certain idea of elegance: the elegance of being yourself, without effort or display.
